This fun set of colors is made from Border Leicester and Montadale fleeces, each dyed with madder root (oranges), indigo and osage chips (green), logwood (dark purple), and osage chips (yellow).
My favorite is to comb the fleeces together but the fleeces card up nicely too. Border Leicester is a long wool, nice and sturdy and easy to spin. Montedale has a shorter staple and tighter curls. Together they bring out the best in each other. Of course you can try your own techniques to spin these luscious locks.
