This fun set of colors is made from 2 Border Leicester fleeces, one first cut black fleece, and one white fleece dyed with madder root (orange), pokeberries (red), cochineal (pink), and osage chips (yellow). I have spun these up myself in a sample to give you a start on ideas. You can spin the black separately or blend the black in with the colors for endless possibilities, creating your own unique yarn! Border Leicester fleece is a long wool, so it makes an excellent wool for beginning spinners, but blending black with the colors will be interesting for experienced spinners too!
