This gorgeous bundle of colors is made from Coopworth and Cormo fleeces, each dyed with black walnuts (brown), indigo (dark blue and light blue), logwood (purple), and indigo and applebark (green). I have spun these up myself in various ways.
My favorite is to comb the coopworth and cormo together and you end up with a lovely soft yarn. Coopworth is a long wool, nice and sturdy and easy to spin. Cormo has a shorter staple and spins up “like butter.” Together they bring out the best in each other. Of course you can try your own techniques to spin these luscious locks.
