This yarn is mordanted alum. It is then dyed with indigo, cochineal and Osage, and the colors are allowed to blend with each other. Each dye-lot comes out a little differently. My 4th batch of this multi-colored yarn, again this picture is from the latest batch. There is more blue in them than these pictures show.
